Science on Patrol Game Pilot
Client Introduction
Science on Patrol (SOP) is a project designed to promote interest and achievement in science by providing youngsters compelling problems (‘crimes’) they can solve by applying the scientific processes and skills actually used by crime scene investigators to solve crimes. This approach capitalizes on the high level of interest in forensic science. This informal science project is aimed squarely at raising the level of participation and achievement in science for adolescent females and other members of underrepresented minority groups
Project Overview
Science on Patrol approached me to help them develop a game pilot that could be used to ask for more funding in order to create a fully developed game that would help participants learn about forensic science.
