Chiko Accidental Alien’s game forum includes the following seven topics: (1) Tips and tricks, (2) What do you think of Chiko, (3) Favourite Chiko Characters, (4) Favourite mini-game, (5) FOM Scores, (6) F.O.M. cards, (7) HELP!!!. From each topic title, some of the discussions held in each space can be easily guessed. But there are examples of mesasge board use that may be expected and even hoped for were not explicity asked for.

Hi there,

as I understand that you are one of the makers of Chiko I would like to make some recomendations:

Overall it is one of the most interesting flash games I have ever played: with cute graphics, talented voices and a very clever game play in my humble opinon it really extents the genre of flash games .

Wow! sunglasses

So only a few things could be improved:

* From the mini games menu (click bean-> mini games) I find no way back to the game scene.
So I click bean-> Home-> load game.
Is there any other way to do this?

* One of the best things is that one can try to get the 95 points by winning the mini game of your choice (would be lost if I would need to walk 100m on the bridge sleepy). So I do not understand why the disco game *has* to be played.
Also I found absolutely no hint in the game itself that this a must.
This is kind of annoying as this is the only game I see absolutely no chance to win.

Okay, I give it another try (for the 22nd time).

Best regards from Berlin ,
Thommy

Examples of Information gathering by Designer for development of new patches and fixes in game posted

StephaneZ ((Game Creator)) responds to thommy's suggestions:

Thanks for your feedback and kind words! Glad you enjoyed playing it...

To answer your questions: leaving the adventure to go to the mini-game screen, the only way to return is to go to the home page and press the load game button. This should be very fast as the game stays preloaded in the computer's memory.

Disco game: must be won only at the easy level... Other levels are not mandatory as long as you collect enough points with the other mini-games. You do not need to win all the mini-games at the hardest level.

And as you said we are not clearly spelling out that the dance game must be played... Is it a flaw or is it a feature?

We are compiling feedback from all players and it is likely some ot these points will be addressed so many thanks for all of your great feedback.

Tip for disco game: it is not so hard if you try to identify beat patterns. Once you get "in the groove" the pattern becomes quite predictable and much easier to solve. Good luck!

Examples of praise/support/request to work as beta testers posted:

PinkyToe writes the following:

My goodness, where does one start when describing Chiko?

The artwork and creatures are an absolute delight. The alien voices and eccentric hoots, boops, bleeps and squeaks bring an even greater measure of fun to the experience. I can't resist poking the king when he's asleep so I can hear what he's dreaming about (taking over the fun park, missing his mommy, etc).

The candy-guzzling creature at the candy game is such a hoot, literally. Thank goodness he's so full of hot air; otherwise the coaster wouldn't have been able to run in an emergency.

The variety of mini-games is fantastic. And the "hard" levels are truly hard! Though I try and try, and I'm an experienced gaming adult, I thus far have had little luck in beating them. Which, of course, just makes me try more.

The story not only has depth to it, but the mini-games all have a role in driving the story along to its ultimate goal of getting Chiko home. This is definitely not a mindless coffee-break game, but an in-depth adventure experience to span several days.

Yes, the downloads are lengthy, but I'm grateful for the save feature and in this case I believe the reward is worth the wait.

Chiko is adorable. The king, the candy-guzzler, the talking coaster, the wacky band of gardeners, the trash-talking disco dancer and her DJ are but a few of the most imaginative and creative game critters I've seen in ages.

It's clear much work went into development of this adventure, and I personally want to thank everyone who worked on the project. Your efforts are noticed, appreciated, and never fail to induce a smile during gameplay.

Should you ever need beta test volunteers for future projects, I'd be thrilled to be participate.
