•  What multimedia concepts are in use to best present the story and game?

Chiko Accidental Alien is a multimedia intensive website that uses multiple forms of media to create the story and space of Chiko’s world as he travels from planet Earth to planet Squerx and then back again to planet Earth. The online space of the game involves interaction only between the player and the computer but excellent use of multimedia provides the user with a sense of interacting with multiple personalities throughout their time in this world. The strong personalities in each of the characters in the story help to give the illusion of real relationships between the user (Chiko) and the game’s inhabitants.
The animation does a really great job bringing out the personality of the characters in the story. The sound effects really add that extra touch of realism to the animations. The accents used for each of the characters also helps to distinguish each in the mind of the player.
